The Nunclon D TripleFlask is designed with three parallel growth surfaces which provide a total culture area of 500cm² within the same external dimensions of a standard 175cm² flask. The Triple Flask's compact design saves incubator space, yet triples cell culture surface area. The three parallel growth surfaces promote conventional, flat, monolayer culturing. Cell lines do not require recharacterization therefore, scale up is easy and consistent. Triple Flask is emptied the same as conventional flasks. Cells are harvested using protein digesting enzymes such as trypsin, collagenase and pronase, or by using non-enzymatic dissociation solutions. The Triple Flask is available with either a filter cap or a vent/close cap.
