This sampling device enables you to take accurate readings of suspended solids in a variety of liquids, to any depth. Simply lower the Sludge Judge® to the bottom of the tank and when the pipe has filled to the surface level a slight tug on the rope seats the check valve trapping the mixture in the column of the sampler. Amount of solids in the sample can be read using the 1ft. increments marked on the pipe sections. Shipped in 3 five foot sections of ¾" plastic pipe with screw type fittings. Carrying case is available.
