A low-cost, direct reading instrument for a wide range of air velocity and static pressure tests. Two ranges, one on each side. A high range 1000-4000 ft./min. and a low range 260-1200 ft./min. Shows supply and return grille velocities, static pressure, furnace draft, pressure drop across air filters, duct air velocities, etc. Complete with air meter, return and supply grille probes, angle connector, cleaning materials, instruction card, air velocity calculator, carrying case and 3 extra plastic balls in plastic tube.

Chart converts air velocity readings to cubic feet per minute without calculations.

The Dwyer 480 Vaneometer™ Swing Vane Anemometer is a durable low-priced instrument specifically designed to simplify the measurement of low air velocities from 25 to 400 feet per minute. OSHA, EPA and other safety ventilation requirements for spray booths and at fume, smoke and dust exhaust hoods can now be quickly checked, even by untrained personnel. Its small size and light weight --- only four ounces make it ideal to carry from one work station to another. A versatile steel mounting bracket for continuous monitoring is also included.

These indicators provide immediate visualization of flow in a tubing line. Brightly colored paddle wheels spin when gas or liquid flows through a system. Molded of clear polystyrene with smooth connecting barbs for easy installation. Internal flow channel diameter is 5mm, paddle wheel shell is 25mm, and overall length is 51mm. Maximum recommended pressure is 10 psig. Minimum flow: 0.5 LPM. Maximum flow: 10 LPM. Not for use with corrosive chemicals or fluids with a temperature in excess of 64°C (150°F).

Same as A1080 except the FloRite® Model MRF comes with an air inlet scoop rated from 0-2,500 fpm. The flow indicator has a highly visible red nylon ball that rotates in a circular channel during flow. Continuity and relative flow rate are indicated by the speed of the ball's rotation. The minimum flow rate to actuate the ball with water is 50mL per minute in a horizontal position and 140mL per minute in a vertical position. With air, the minimum flow rate is 3 liters per minute in a horizontal position and 8 liters per minute in a vertical position. Maximum working pressure is 10 psig. (69 kN/m2).

This superior in-line device indicates liquid or gas flow from 95mL/sec. down to 5mL/sec. (or down to 3mL/sec. in fluid with air bubbles removed). The clear polystyrene outer case reveals the bright red paddlewheel, which spins freely with flow. Not for use with corrosive fluids or over 64°C (150°F). Dimensions are 90 x 16 x 55mm (3 1/2" x 3/4" x 2 1/8"). Serrated tubulations accept 10 to 14mm (3/8" to 9/16") ID tubing.

A quick, easy way to test the safety of fume hood exhaust before use. Just a squeeze or two from the plastic bottle dispenses a cloud of ultra-fine, lightweight silica powder, which remains suspended long enough to visually check whether or not fume hood exhaust is functioning properly. It is also useful for detecting drafts, gas leaks, and air currents in rooms, ducts, and exhaust systems. The amorphous silica powder is inert, non-toxic, and non-flammable. 1.5 gm bottle.
