Perform ultra-high temperature applications with the Thermo Scientific™ Thermolyne™ Industrial Benchtop Muffle Furnace, which reaches a maximum temperature of 1200°C. Heavy-duty firebrick insulation surrounds the opening for added durability. Counter-weighted door swings upward, directing heat away from operator. Door safety switch protects operator by removing power to the heating elements upon opening the door. The rear of the chamber incorporates a 0.38" (0.95 cm) diameter port for monitoring chamber temperatures with independent measuring devices. No power cord supplied. Electrical connection requires fixed wiring. Ships with Platinel™ II thermocouple and a ceramic hearth plate to protect the bottom heating element.
