The Squaroid Hi-Temp Vacuum Oven has microprocessor based controls that can adjust the chamber temperature from ambient +5°C to 300°C (572°F). Designed for desiccation, vacuum embedding, plating, process control, and inert atmosphere applications. Radiant warm wall heaters mounted outside of chamber to conserve chamber workspace and eliminate the hazards of open wire heaters. Adjustable high-limit safety thermostat for over temperature protection. Heat indicator lamps illuminate when the oven is heating. 3" (7.6 cm) glass wool insulation minimizes heat loss from chamber. Dial thermometer in working chamber displays actual temperature. Precise vacuum control to 30" Hg displayed on analog gauge. Secure door latch and continuous gaskets on vacuum chamber provide a tight seal and maintain a vacuum leak rate of less than 1 inch Hg per 24 hour period. Vacuum control and relief valves located on front of unit for convenient monitoring. Compression fittings on rear wall of oven accept .25" (.6 cm) O.D. hard tubing for pump and air connections. Vacuum and air lines constructed with corrosion-resistant stainless steel tubing for optimum chamber cleanliness and long term performance. Corrosion-resistant #304 stainless steel interior. Durable powder coated heavy gauge steel exterior. Tempered glass window in door allows viewing of samples. Two-piece aluminum shelf system improves heat conduction to samples and is easily removed for cleaning.
