The Thermo Scientific Maxi-Stirrer Large Volume Stirrer can reach speeds up to 2400rpm. The polished stainless-steel construction resists corrosion. The Maxi-Stirrer has a stirring capacity of up to 200L and can accommodate stir bars from 1.5 to 6 in. (4 to 15cm); (sold separately). This large volume stirrer is recommended for use with: viscous gels; latex mixtures; polymers; starches and molasses. The 18 x 18 inch top surface has a ridged non-slip white rubber mat to help hold containers in place.
