Description:
A quick, easy to use instrument that measures carbon monoxide by simply drawing an air sample through a chemical reagent in a glass indicator tube. The pump has interchangeable scales and calibrated tubes. Scales and tubes can be ordered applicable. If carbon monoxide is present, a stain appears in the indicator tube: the length of the stain is measured against a built-in scale to determine the CO percentage or parts per million (ppm). The Monoxor Detector is also fast and simple to operate. An air sample is drawn through a detector tube containing an indicating gel: if a stain forms after one pump stroke, the CO concentration is 300 ppm or higher. If it appears after two strokes, the concentration is 100 to 300 ppm. If no stain appears, the concentration is less than 100 ppm. Each Gas Hazard Indicator includes a universal gas sampler, carton of 12 indicator tubes, package of 6 tube caps and a carrying case with space for the unit and one carton of tubes.
