Thermo Scientific Precision High-Performance Incubators with mechanical convection are ideal for applications requiring excellent temperature distribution and heating. Mechanical convection provides uniform heating, precise temperature control and fast drying. A blower circulates heated air in a horizontal airflow pattern for efficient heat distribution with tight temperature tolerances of up to ±0.5°C. Temperature is displayed on large, three-character screen; can be easily set from 5°C above ambient to up to 75°C (depending on model) in 0.1°C increments using touch-sensitive arrow keys. The units come with sophisticated microprocessor PID controls and easy-to-view digital LED readout. Fixed setpoints on control panel eliminate the need for tuning. The built-in safety back-up maintains control at 3° above setpoint if the primary heater control fails. An inner glass door permits viewing of samples without disturbing the chamber environment. A silicone gasket on the outer door along with 3 in.-thick fiberglass insulation prevents heat loss and ensures excellent temperature uniformity. An internal electrical outlet (30.4 cu. ft. units have two outlets) allows for the operation of a shaker, stirrer, or other lab apparatus to be used inside the unit. (Sample Photo Shown.
