Intermediate Student Microscope, National Optical Model 111 - M3080-1

For superior performance, National Optical offers the Model 111 microscope for intermediate level student teaching. This microscope features a rugged construction and a full-sized DIN optical system. This microscope has a wider field of view, greater resolution, a better light condensing system and a larger frame than other ordinary elementary student microscopes. This microscope is recommended for the elementary through the 8^th and 9^th grades. Other features include widefield 10x eyepiece with revolving pointer, 45° inclined viewing with head rotation of 360°, and achromatic, parcentered, parfocalled DIN standard 4x, 10x, 40xR objectives. This microscope also has oversized focusing knobs which provide mid-range focusing between normal coarse and fine focus range. Added slip clutch and rack stop protects objective lenses and specimen slides. The larger stage on this microscope is 110mm x 120mm with locked-on, spring activated stage clips.
