Quick-disconnect in-line tubing connectors. Use Stat-O-Lok™ connecters for one hand, no mess tubing hook-ups. These chrome plated brass connectors feature easy to use slide locks for leak-free in-line connections and automatic shut off when disconnected. Hose barb ends accept flexible tubing. Operate at temperatures to 82°C (180°F) pressures to 1.7 Mpa (250psi), vacuum to 30 microns of chrome plated valves provide dependable operation; is ideal for liquid and gas connectors in biomedical instrumentation and general industrial applications.

Nalgene 489 tubing can be chemically sterilized for repeatable use and it has superior chemical resistance.

Should not be exposed to halogenated hydrocarbons for an extended period. Autoclavable.

Manufactured from highest-grade resins and plasticizers that resist hardening and discoloration from a wide range of chemicals. Meets Food Additives Amendment of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act; also USDA and U.S. Pharmacopeia Class VI requirements for plastic materials. Marked with I.D. and regulatory compliance as well as at 12" intervals for easy identification and measurement. Durometer hardness is Shore A, 55.

Should not be used with molten alkali metals, elemental fluorine and fluorine precursors at elevated temperatures or concentrated perchloric acid.
