Nalgene 3122 Polycarbonate Centrifuge Bottles are ideal for large-volume cell harvesting, pelleting and protein purification. Molded of transparent polycarbonate, these translucent bottles are autoclavable and have excellent mechanical strength properties and are ideal for are ideal for low speed centrifugation of biological and chemical samples. For proper performance must be filled to 80% of the total capacity. For added leakproof assurance at maximum speeds or when spinning hazardous materials, use with polypropylene sealing caps assemblies; available for 250mL (DS3131-0038) and 1000mL (DS3132-0063) sizes. Cat. No. 3122-1010 designed for use with IEC rotors. When spinning 250mL bottle in a Thermo Scientific™ Sorvall™ GSA rotor, use of the Nalgene centrifuge bottle adaptor (DS3125-0250) is required. For proper performance, bottles must be filled to at least 80% of total capacity.
