The Mini Cooler (C6515-1) safely holds twelve 0.5 to 2.0 mL microcentrifuge tubes or cryogenic vials at a temperature below -15°C for approximately 1 hour. The Maxi Cooler (C6515-2) safely holds thirty-two 0.5 to 2.0 mL microcentrifuge tubes or cryogenic vials at a temperature below -15°C for approximately 1½ hours. Included inserts adapt wells to hold 0.5 mL microcentrifuge tubes. The polycarbonate cooler body is filled with a non-toxic gel, which cannot contact tubes ensuring that markings and labels on tubes are safe.

Cryo-Safe™ Coolers keep tubes or vials at a temperature below 0°C for approximately 2½ hours. Included inserts adapt wells to hold 0.5 mL microcentrifuge tubes. Coolers are stackable and have rubber feet to prevent sliding on the lab bench. Ideal for protecting valuable samples stored in freezer with defrost cycle.

Tightness in the cap and excellent temperature resistance make CryoTubes especially suited for storing samples at very low temperatures and, in general, where a high security for tightness is required. Manufactured from specially selected polypropylene, which combines a high degree of transparency with the ability to withstand low temperatures. CryoTubes, with inside treads, have a silicone gasket ensuring a tight seal. Recommended working volume and writing area are printed on the tubes.

The three MAX CryoStore Boxes provide orderly, convenient storage for CryoTube vials and microcentrifuge tubes. The durable boxes are designed for use in mechanical and liquid nitrogen freezers. The MAX-100 and the Mega MAX-100 allow storage of 100 internally threaded vials in the same space required for 81 vials. Boxes come complete with a 10 x 10 removable divider, which can be replaced with a 9 x 9 divider for larger externally threaded vials. The divider may be removed for storage of larger containers. The MAX-100 accommodates 1.0mL to 1.8mL Cryotube vials.

Nalgene 5012 Sterile Polypropylene Cryogenic Vials with Screw Caps are for storage in mechanical and vapor-phase liquid nitrogen freezers, at temperatures from –80 to 121°C. Sealing ring, in conjunction with specially designed threads, permits secure closure in approximately 2-1/2 turns. Thread position — internal for screw-cap, external for vial — greatly reduces risk of contaminating vial contents. Deep-skirted closure allows single-handed aseptic technique without exposing fingers to vial contents. Bulk packed 1000/case for economical purchase.

Polycarbonate Benchtop Cryogenic Tube Holder has anti-rotation feature for one handed capping and decapping. Blue polycarbonate 25-place rack (5030-0505) allows single-handed vial manipulation. Spacing around each hole is greater than in C6530-2 (5030-0510) to grasp vials easily. Bottom of each well interlocks with base of vial. Accepts all NALGENE cryogenic vials, except C6524-1. Holes are staggered for viewing vial contents. White polycarbonate rack (C6530-2) accommodates up to 50 vials in a 5 x 10 array. Bottom of each well interlocks with base of vial.

CryoColorCode Inserts fit inside the CryoTube Vial cap. CryoStore chipboard boxes store vials neatly and fit standard rack systems. They are supplied with dividers and are vented for good drainage. CryoStore canes are made of aluminum for liquid nitrogen use. They are compatible with Nunc CryoTube vials.
Corning® CoolCell® LX, 432138 Cell Freezing Container, for 12 x 1mL or 2mL Cryogenic Vials, 4-Pack, Purple, Green, Orange, and Pink

Corning CoolCell LX, in combination with a -80°C freezer, will provide alcohol-free freezing at the rate of -1°C/minute that is ideal for cryopreservation of most cells and cell lines. Using a combination of uniform-density cross-linked polyethylene foam, a solid state core, and radial vial symmetry, freezing profiles are consistent and reproducible. The foam is non-absorbent and will impose negligible change in the freezer environment; thereby protecting nearby frozen samples.
